2. Who Can Use Our Service
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase or create an account. If you’re buying for a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian (or have permission from one). Our letters and stories are designed for children, but all account creation and information sharing must be done by adults.
3. Accounts and Information
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You’re responsible for all activity under your account.
Parents or gift‑givers may enter limited information about a child (such as name, birthday, or preferences) to personalize letters. We do not allow children to create accounts or submit information directly.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Fixed‑term only: Subscriptions are fixed‑term and do not auto‑renew.
- Payments: Full subscription payment is collected upfront via Stripe.
- Taxes & shipping: Prices are in U.S. dollars and may be subject to applicable sales tax and shipping fees.
- Cancellations & refunds: You may cancel at any time, for any reason. Refunds are processed beginning on the 1st day of the following month after you cancel.
- Order issues: We may refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (e.g., suspected fraud or payment problems).
5. Add‑On Products
Optional add‑ons (like plush toys, stickers, and greeting cards) may be purchased separately or with a subscription. Add‑ons are typically one‑time purchases and may ship separately from letters.
6. Shipping and Delivery
- Letters are mailed at regular intervals (usually twice per month).
- Once items are handed to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Friends Mail Factory LLC is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss during shipping.
- We currently ship within the United States only.
7. Intellectual Property
All creative materials—letters, characters (including Barker, Dakota, and Radder), stories, artwork, songs, and digital content—are the intellectual property of Friends Mail Factory LLC.
You may enjoy and share your letters or photos of our products for personal use, including on social media. However, you may not copy, reproduce, sell, or distribute our materials for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Digital Content and Access
Your account may allow previews of letters, access to digital extras, or printable content. These are provided for your family’s personal use only and may be updated from time to time to improve your experience.
9. Privacy and Children’s Information
- All personal information is provided by adults (parents or gift‑givers).
- We do not collect information directly from children.
- We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
For details on how we collect, use, and protect information, please see our separate Privacy Policy.
